well, i can honestly say that this book would have been crap if not for the last ten percent. prior thereto, most everything was a snoozefest. i was bored. then bored. then bored. still bored. then skeeved out by the too close for comfort moment care of the reappearance of one most unexpected. then back to being bored. there's painfully little of the zing between daemon and katy. why i wanted that back is a wonder to begin with because daemon's asshole antics/too arrogant to live schtick was getting old in books one and two for me. but the thing is i think that's where the two's charm lay.that cliffy though it's got me as its hostage... if the next one progreeses like this one did *read: boriiiiinggggg* i don't want it, but... but... still, i want to know what's coming and where things are going for all of them.2 for the overall read but i'm bumping it up a star for that ending.
